About Us

The Pet Food Pantry has been in operation since January 2009, 15 years.  Our Mission Statement is "We are a nonprofit dedicated to keeping pets with their families through tough economic times by providing supplemental food. Particularly, it is to provide a pet food pantry to enable individuals to feed and keep their pets to prevent abandonment and cruelty to animals. This also includes funds for medical assistance for those in need and training to help correct behavioral problems."

In 2023, we helped over 300 families and individuals feed their pets. This amounted to over 17,000 lbs. of kibble for dogs, 6,000 lbs. of kibble for the cats. We also provided lots of treats and many 1,000s of cans of wet food for both the dogs and cats.

Some people only needed help once or twice, others for a few weeks. There are many people who get food on a regular basis.

We are a 100% volunteer organization with no paid staff. In 2023, volunteers donated over 900 hours of their time.
